Thermal-Flex Systems was founded in 1968 and has been providing high quality heating products
to the railroad, transit, nuclear, defense and industrial markets for more than 30 years. We design,
manufacture and provide a wide range of heating products offering the most cost effective
solutions for today’s demanding heating applications.
Our products include railroad switch heating systems and controls, along with third rail heaters
and accessories for transit companies. In 1976 Thermal-Flex Systems developed the first low
energy insulated switch heating system providing our customers with significant savings on
power and installation costs. Thermal-Flex Systems manufactures the only flexible rail heater
allowing hand forming around rail braces. No rail drilling is required. Thermal-Flex Systems also provides a wide range of heat tracing cables, controls and accessories.
